There is a need for American society to learn about the omitted history of service and valor by Black male and female Veterans in the American Revolution and subsequent wars and battled. Black Veterans gallantly protected the rights of others and placed themselves in daily peril, yet did not enjoy total freedom in their country of birth. Issuance of the Black Veterans Commemorative Series will educate and connect the public to this significant history of unselfish loyalty to the United States of America.
Real change happens when everyday people like you and I come together and stand up for what we believe in. Together we can reach heaps of people and help create change around this important issue.
